Greg Sherman is a composer - pianist from the Pacific Northwest, currently living in Southern California. His songs are like Impressionist paintings, melodic and deeply introspective. These diverse musical paintings reflect influences that include the piano sonatas of Beethoven and the piano improvisations of Keith Jarrett.

Greg might currently be better known for his multi-keyboard work in the groundbreaking '70's Progressive jazz rock band Glass. As a co-founder of this seminal instrumental trio, Greg's songwriting and virtuoso synthesizer and Mellotron playing helped blaze the trail for Progressive Music in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Glass continues their 30-plus year career today.

Greg's latest solo piano CD "The Road Home" was released by Musea Records' Dreaming Records label on March18th, 2008. This new album continues the musical journey started with his first Impressionist CD "Zutique".

Combining vastly diverse musical influences, Greg forges new musical landscapes and colors. Guest appearances by several topnotch musicians including ex-Glass bandmate Paul Black and brother Jeff, further contribute to Greg's unique vision on this recording.

Reviewer Gerald Wandio had this to say in his review for the Dutch Progressive Rock Pages:

"Superbly recorded, rich, resonant piano. The music is not what I’d expected . . . . What we have here are thirteen gorgeous, melodic almost-solo piano compositions."
