Relentless Pursuit Music and Glass are proud to announce the long awaited release of “Illuminations”, now available on Musea Records at their website here. It is scheduled for "official" release in early September, when it will be chosen as the Selection of the month!

It is their first studio recording in over 27 years. Work on the CD began in August 2004 and was completed January 2005. The initial recording sessions were recorded at Bob Lang’s hillside studio in Seattle. The final recording sessions and mixing were completed at Zircon Skye Studios in Ojai, California.

“Illuminations” contains fifteen new original songs, over an hour's worth of music. The songs on the CD present a wide array of sounds and styles, from the hard-driving Hammond Organ and Mellotron-laden ‘Overture’, to the mystic sound montages of “Crossing”. From the delicate grand piano strains of “Falling”, to the ambient-like chanting of Buddhist monks behind Jeff Sherman’s solo Alembic bass work. And then there's the hypnotic dreaminess of Jerry Cook's mega-drum solo "Medicine Man".

Guest appearances on ‘Illuminations’ include ex-Soft Machine legend Hugh Hopper and more from Canterbury legends Richard Sinclair and Phil Miller.

Glass would like to thank each and every one of you who have given us so much support through the years. The first of upcoming concerts by Glass this Fall has been confirmed. Glass will play a concert in their hometown of Port Townsend, Washington on Friday, October 7th to support the release of "Illuminations". Tickets will be on sale soon and information will be posted here. So stay tuned for further updates!
